All clinical decisions remain the responsibility of the participant, who must exercise professional judgment within their scope of practice and jurisdiction.

2. Medical and Clinical Disclaimer

The content presented in Speech Restored Inc. courses is not medical advice and does not replace individualized assessment, diagnosis, or treatment. Information provided should be interpreted and applied only within the participant’s professional scope and ethical boundaries. 3. Certification of Completion

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by Speech Restored Inc., indicating the professional development hours earned. Recognition of these hours for continuing competency purposes remains at the discretion of each participant’s licensing or regulatory body.

4. Subscription and Access Duration

Participants receive one (1) year of access to course content, materials, and recordings from the date of registration or purchase. After this one-year period, access automatically expires unless renewed by Speech Restored Inc. Renewal or extended access may be offered at the discretion of the company. No prorated refunds or partial credits are provided for unused subscription time.

5. No Refund Policy

All purchases are final. Due to the digital nature of the workshop content and immediate access to course materials, Speech Restored Inc. does not offer refunds, exchanges, or transfers for any reason, including but not limited to non-attendance, scheduling conflicts, or changes in personal circumstances. By completing a purchase or registration, you confirm acceptance of this no refund policy.

6. Copyright and Intellectual Property

All materials provided by Speech Restored Inc., including but not limited to videos, handouts, slides, written content, graphics, and recordings, are the intellectual property of Speech Restored Inc. and are protected under Canadian and international copyright law. Participants are granted personal, non-transferable access to materials for their own professional learning. You may not copy, record, distribute, sell, post, or modify any materials without prior written permission from Speech Restored Inc. Limited, time-based access (e.g., one-year subscription) does not transfer ownership of any content. All rights remain the exclusive property of Speech Restored Inc.

7. Limitation of Liability

Speech Restored Inc., its directors, contractors, and instructors shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from participation in workshops or the use of related materials. By participating, you agree to hold Speech Restored Inc. harmless from any claims, losses, or damages that may arise from applying workshop content in clinical or educational practice.

8. Terms and Conditions

Workshops are open to licensed SLPs, SLPAs, and current graduate students in accredited speech-language pathology programs. Participants are responsible for ensuring reliable internet and compatible devices. Speech Restored Inc. is not responsible for technical issues on the participant’s end. The content is for educational use only and must be applied ethically within professional scope. Speech Restored Inc. may update course materials or delivery methods at any time. Feedback may be collected and used for quality improvement or marketing (with consent).

9. Privacy Policy

Speech Restored Inc. is committed to protecting your privacy and complying with applicable privacy laws including PIPEDA (Canada), HIPAA (U.S.), GDPR (U.K./E.U.), and the Australian Privacy Act. Personal data collected includes name, email, contact information, professional credentials, and course participation records. Participants accessing from other jurisdictions agree to comply with all applicable local laws.

Bite Block Safety & Usage Legal Disclaimer

Important Notice

The bite block is a small speech therapy tool intended for use only under the direct supervision and guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). It is designed to support speech therapy goals involving jaw stability and independent tongue and lip movements.

Safety Warning

  • Choking Hazard: The bite block is a small item that poses a significant choking risk. It must be used only as directed by a licensed SLP and under close supervision at all times.
  • Age Restriction: Not suitable for children under five (5) years of age.
  • Keep Away from Pets: The bite block must never be used near or accessible to pets.
  • Supervised Use Required: As the bite block is a choking hazard, adult supervision is required at all times during use.
  • Inspection Before Use: Visually inspect the bite block and string before each use to ensure they are intact and undamaged. Do not use it if cracked, damaged, or compromised in any way.

Users and caregivers are responsible for ensuring proper hygiene, safe handling, and the immediate disposal of any damaged or compromised bite block.

Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability

Return Policy

Due to the personal and hygienic nature of this product, all sales are final. No returns, exchanges, or refunds are permitted once the product has been purchased, opened, or delivered.
